Digital Literacy
Digital Literacy is not just an option according to Wesley Fryer. He argues that in order to succeed in this day in age, we must have the digital literacy skills to do so. In this article, he is reaching out to teachers of today’s youth and he suggests that we must be wary of the dangers that the Internet holds. We must teach students how to use digital literacy correctly. In order to make sure that we are getting the correct information, he argues that we should always check the source of the website. According to Fryer, we must have a sufficient amount of digital literacy to survive the realities and challenges of this day in age. He states that the Internet is a digital frontier and we are its pioneers and we must be prepared for the unpredictable challenges that we will face. I can only say that Fryer insists that we must be prepared for the future, for technology is the future.
