Part I

Technology is something that has been a part of my life since I can remember. My first computer was an old Gateway, fully furnished with Microsoft Word and that is about it. I can honestly say that I cannot learn anymore when it comes to Microsoft Office. I have been using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for the longest time. This is the program that I am most comfortable using. I am also very familiar with the majority of programs that a PC consists of. I have also become accustomed to using ITunes. Every since I received an iPod for Christmas on year, I have become an iTunes master. I can navigate the program like the back of my hand.
There are also a great number of technologies that I am very unfamiliar with. The one that comes to mind first is the Mac interface and operating system. I have used a PC my entire life and when I used a Mac for the first time, I was completely lost. I am also not a very big gamer. Contrary to what most believe, I am not as great a gamer as most teenagers. I did not have the most new game system as a kid and I was always outside. Until recently, the only game system I had was a Nintendo Gamecube. I am embarrassed that I am not as good as a gamer as my friends, which is why I want to greatly improve in that area. Some other programs that I would like to become more comfortable with are Photoshop, Windows Movie Maker and Blogging.
